Course Description:

This course is roughly divided into three parts.

Part 1 – Focuses on the concepts and rules relevant to preparing an appraisal that will used to substantiate a client’s
federal charitable tax deduction for a conservation easement donation.

Part 2 – Focuses on how to value a conservation easement in compliance with the federal tax law rules, and how those rules relate to USPAP.

Part 3 – Will provide the perspective of an IRS Appraiser with significant experience reviewing and critiquing conservation easement appraisals.

Fee Breakdown: 

·    $350 —  Appraiser seeking 7.0 hours of Continuing Education (CE) Credit

·    $200 for the General Public—will receive a link to the video recording following the program. We cannot guarantee that watching the recording will satisfy either CE requirements for appraisers or State Bar CLE requirements for attorneys, and have set this registration fee accordingly.

·    $100 for Nonprofit or Government Entity Personnel—will receive a link to the video recording following the program.

·    Complimentary for University Students—will receive a link to the video recording following the program.
